With a diverse academic foundation in Theater, Journalism, and studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, my career began with hands-on experience in the trenches of film production—working as a production assistant, unit manager, and lighting technician.
For my first job, I joined the Austrian Film Gallery, where I organised film-themed exhibitions. I soon advanced to Technical Director for the Austrian Film Archive and Film Museum’s newly founded digital restoration facility. There, I managed the full Digital Intermediate (DI) workflow, utilizing Arri Scan, Diamant film restoration software, Assimilate Scratch for color grading, and using the Arri Laser to print back onto film. I further honed these skills at the summer school at the film lab L’Immagine Ritrovata in Bologna.
Over the years, I expanded my expertise into motion design and VFX, mastering tools like After Effects, Cinema 4D, Nuke and Houdini. This led to a long term collaboration besides my freelance work with ARRI (now Pharos) in Munich and Berlin, where I specialized in digital restoration, DI, conforming, and high-end VFX. I also started studying Digital Art – Compositing (DAC) at the Vienna Film Academy.
Today, I offer comprehensive post-production services. Supporting feature films and documentaries from the editing stage, supplying color grading, animation, design, visual effects and finishing for theatrical release and television.
Beyond the studio, I am a dedicated educator, having taught at university, SAE and conducted international workshops for the restoration software ‘Diamant.’
I continue to push creative boundaries, currently expanding my scope into projection mapping, exhibition design, AI workflows and interactive media.
